What types of rooms are available in the hotel and what are the differences between the different categories?
A: There are 8 room categories - Superior, Deluxe, Superior Classic, Executive Club, Premier Club, Executive Suite, Family Room, Family Suite, and Connecting Room.

  • Superior and Deluxe Room types are differentiated by floor levels. Superior Rooms are located from the 4th to 6th floors, whilst Deluxe Rooms are from 7th and above.
  • Superior Classic Rooms are suitable for up to 3 adults. It comes with the option of one queen bed and one roll-away bed OR two single beds and one roll-away bed.
  • Executive Club comes with with free access to the Executive Club Lounge for breakfast and evening drinks.
  • Premier Club King has a modern glass bathroom and a view facing the Marina Bay area. It also includes free access to the Executive Club Lounge for breakfast and evening drinks
  • Family Rooms have two Queen beds that fit up to 4 adults comfortably.
  • Family Suites have a living room with a kitchenette, and a bedroom with a view facing the Marina Bay area. It also has a sofa-bed in the living room area.
  • Connecting Rooms are a set of two interconnecting rooms. They come in a configuration of one double bed in the first room, and two single beds in the second room.


Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
A: Room rates are based on per room. Prices shown on the website before booking summary exclude taxes and service charge. Prices shown on the booking form page include taxes and service charge.

Can I use my friends’ credit card to make a reservation?
A: Our payment gateway requires a One-Time-Password (OTP) from the credit card holder. You may use a friend’s credit card to make a reservation as long as they choose to share this OTP with you.

Can I use Debit Card for room payment and making reservations?
A: Yes, as long as your debit card’s issuing bank is able to send you a One-time-Password (OTP) for verification purposes.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without incurring any charges?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, the terms and conditions on the booking confirmation apply. You may cancel your booking by reaching out to us at reservations.citycentre@furama.com, unless the package booked is prepaid or non-refundable. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your cancellation request via your booking source.

Can I amend my reservations? Is there any penalty fee?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, you may make your amending requests by reaching out to us at reservations.citycentre@furama.com, subjected to the terms & conditions specified on the booking confirmation. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your amendment requests via your booking source.

How many people can stay in one room?
A: It depends on the room category. Most rooms can only accommodate 2 adults. However, Superior, Deluxe, and Executive Suite rooms can accommodate 2 adults, or 3 with an extra bed. Family Room and Family Suite can accommodate up to 4 adults and Connecting Rooms can accommodate up to 5 adults with an extra bed.

How much is the extra bed?
A: Superior & Deluxe @ S$60 Nett per night and Executive Suite @ S$100 Nett per night.

I have 2 kids, aged 6 and 14. Do I need to get an extra bed?
A: Children below 12 years of age stay for free using existing bedding. Extra bed for child is charged the same rate as an adult. Only one extra bed is allowed per room.

How do I book an extra bed in the Superior, Deluxe, and Executive Suite rooms?
A: Indicate “3” adults when searching for rooms on our website. The prices shown for these room categories are inclusive of an extra bed.

I have a reservation under my name, can my friend check-in for me?
A: Yes, however guest is required to inform hotel of the friend’s name before check-in. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your amendment via your booking source.

Can I pay my room in different currency?
A: No, hotel transactions are all in Singapore Dollars.

Do you offer discounts for a group booking?
A: No.

Does the internet rate includes breakfast?
A: No, unless it is on promotion and/or Executive Club, Premier Club, or Executive Suite category.

Are the prices shown on the web before or after discount?
A: The rates shown on the hotel website are after discount. There are no hidden charges and booking fees when rates are booked via our official website.

What are the standard check in and check out times of the hotel?
A: Check in time 2pm, check out time 12nn.

Is it possible to check in earlier? If so, what are the charges?
A: If arrival is before 1000hrs, it is advisable to pre-book the room a day earlier. If check-in is after 1000hrs and before 1400hrs, early check-in is still subject to availability, on a request basis with no additional charge. If you book directly via our official website, you may select the optional add-on of early check-in at 9am at a discounted rate. Do note that this is only applicable at the time of booking.

Can I have a late check-out? If so, what are the charges?
A: For late check-out before 6pm, rates are charged at a half day rate, for check-out after 6pm, full day rates apply. If you book directly via our official website, you may select the optional add-on of late check-out at 6pm at a discounted rate. Do note that this is only applicable at the time of booking.

Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
A: Yes, we have Twin-bedded room, Triple room (with extra rollaway bed) & Family Room and Family Suite for 4 adults.

Are King size beds available in the rooms?
A: Yes, subject to availability.

Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
A: Bathtubs are available upon request but are not guaranteed. Only our Premier Club, Executive Suite, and Family Suites have guaranteed bathtubs.

What television channels are available in the rooms?
A: Local TV channels.

Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?
A: Yes.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?
A: Yes.

Are safety deposit boxes available at the hotel?
A: In-room safe box is available in all guest rooms.

Do you have a freezer in the rooms?
A: No, all rooms come equipped with a mini-refrigerator without a freezer, except for our Executive Suite and Family Suites which are equipped with a two-door refrigerator with a freezer.

Do you have interconnecting rooms?
A: Yes, please make a reservation for the room category of Connecting Room. These are a set of two interconnecting rooms with a King bed in one room, and two Single beds in the other room.

Do you offer complimentary Wi-Fi?
A: Yes.

How much is breakfast?
A: Buffet breakfast at Tiffany Café & Restaurant is charged at S$28.80++ per person, price is subjected to an additional Goods and Services Tax (GST) and service charge. For room reservations made via www.furama.com, buffet breakfast is charged at a discounted rate. Do note that this discounted rate is only available at the time of booking.

Do you have rooms for disabled/wheelchair dependent persons?
A: No, however we have wheelchair and shower chair facilities upon request.

Does your executive floors have any children rules or dress code?
A: No, however for access to Executive Lounge, dress code must be smart and casual.

A: Breakfast is served at Tiffany Café & Restaurant from 6am to 10.30am.

How much is breakfast for child?
A: S$18 Nett per child.

How many restaurants do you have and what are they?
A: One restaurant, Tiffany Café & Restaurant – Serving international buffet and A la Carte from our Halal kitchen.

Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?
A: Yes.

Is halal cuisine available in the restaurants?
A: Yes.

Is there a special menu available for children?
A: Yes.

Do you have 24-hour room service?
A: Yes.

Is there a swimming pool in the hotel? What is the operating hours?
A: Yes, our swimming pool is open from 6am to 10pm.

Is there a gym in the hotel? If so, what equipment do you have in the gym? What is the operating hours?
A: Yes, our hotel gym is well-equipped with a treadmill, dumbbells, weight lifting machines, exercise ball and cross trainers. The gym is open from 6am to 10pm.

Is laundry service provided?
A: Yes and it is chargeable. Alternatively, you may use the coin-operated self-laundrette machines – both washer and dryer are available.

Do you have a pet policy?
A: Pets are not allowed in the hotel premises.

Is durian allowed in the hotel?
A: Strictly no durians.

What is your hotel's legal age to check-in?
A: 18 years old and above.

Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?
A: Special arrangements can be made (chargeable).

Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?
A: Please check with our concierge for assistance on tour/excursions bookings.

Do you have special facilities and services available for the disabled traveller?
A: We have wheelchair and shower chair available upon request.

Can the hotel reconfirm my ongoing flight and make arrangements for domestic and international flights?
A: Yes, please contact concierge for assistance.

Where can I print my boarding pass?
A: Please contact concierge for assistance.

Is a doctor available in the hotel?
A: No, please contact duty manager for assistance.

Are massaging services available in the hotel?
A: No.

How far is the nearest hospital from the hotel?
A: 10 mins by car.

Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?
A: There is a Bank of China branch within the hotel’s shopping arcade. Currency exchange can be transacted at the hotel’s cashier counter. Other nearby alternatives are 5 minutes away at People’s Park Centre or Chinatown Point.

What is the local currency?
A: Singapore Dollars.

What time do the local banks open?
A: Local banks operate from 9am onwards.

Are there shops at the hotel?
A: Yes.

A: Yes.

How long does it take to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel and approximately how much does it cost?
A: It takes approximately 25 minutes by taxi and costs about S$25 to S$35 depending on time of the day and type of cab.

Do you have complimentary airport transfers?
A: No.

How do I get to the hotel from the nearest mrt station?
A: From Chinatown Station
Take Exit D and head towards People's Park Centre. Furama City Centre, Singapore is located right beside it.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
A: It takes approximately 25 minutes by taxi and about an hour by MRT.

How many parking lots are available at the hotel?
A: 100 lots are available in our basement carpark.

Is parking complimentary for room guests? F&B guests?
A: Complimentary parking is available only for in-house guests. Parking charges apply for F&B guests.

What is the best way to get around the city?
A: There are several ways to travel around Singapore, depending on your destination. For sightseeing around urban landmarks and Singapore’s shopping belt, you can book a guided tour or hop on a public bus to the city. Alternatively, you may wish to embark on an experience closer to the average Singaporean’s daily commute by riding the MRT (train/subway). Some places, such as the Singapore Zoo, are located further away from central Singapore, and we would advise journeying there by taxi.

Is a child seat compulsory for use in cars in Singapore?
A: Children under 8 years old must be belted into an appropriate child restraint when travelling in front and rear seats of cars, including private hire cars, in Singapore. However, car seats are not compulsory in taxis, although they are still highly recommended whenever possible.

Does your hotel provide babysitting services?
A: Yes, please make arrangements with our front desk at least a day in advance.

Are baby cots available for the rooms?
A: Baby cots are available upon request.

Are baby cots chargeable?
A: Baby cots are complimentary.

Do you have a Kids Room/Area in the hotel?
A: No, we do not have a kids room/area.

Are “high chairs” available in the restaurants?
A: Yes.

What voltage do you use in Singapore?
A: Local voltage for usage of electrical appliances is from 220volts to 240volts.

What pin plug do you use in Singapore?
A: Singapore uses the G type plug and socket. View plug.

Does the hotel provide universal adaptor?
A: Yes, they are available for purchase at our vending machines.

What is the GST refund system in Singapore?
A: GST is refunded on goods purchase only and conditions apply. Please refer to the Singapore GST Refund Scheme website at customs.gov.sg for more information.

Is it safe to drink tap water in Singapore?
A: Yes.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?
A: Rain and shine throughout the year.

What should I wear in Singapore?
A: Thin and light clothing comfortable for usage in tropical climate or summer.

Are there any major shopping centres near the hotel? If so, where are they?
A: Yes, within 5 mins walk from the hotel via a sheltered link bridge.

How far is the hotel from the main shopping area?
A: 10 to 15 mins by taxi.

Is the hotel far from the MRT?
A: No, the hotel is very near to the 2 MRT stations – Chinatown and Clarke Quay.

Are you close to the Theatres/Entertainment venues?
A: Yes, 10 to 15 mins by MRT depending on location.

Can we book sightseeing tours directly at the hotel?
A: Yes.
