Rooms and Rates

What types of rooms are available in the hotel and what are the differences between the different categories?
A: There are 4 room categories - Superior, Deluxe, Executive Club & Executive Suite.

  • Superior and Deluxe, room type is differentiated by the bathroom amenities available. Comb and writing stationary are provided in Deluxe.
  • Executive Club comes with free access to Executive Club Lounge for complimentary evening cocktails.
  • Executive Suite is has a living room and a bedroom, includes free access to Executive Club Lounge for complimentary evening cocktails.

Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
A: Room rates are based on per room per night. Prices shown on the website include taxes and service charge.

Does my room reservation require any guarantee?
A: Yes, all online bookings require a credit card guarantee.

Can I book using my friends’ credit card to make my reservations?
A: Yes, we will require your friend to fill up a 3rd party authorisation form to allow hotel to process the charge.

Can I use Debit Card for room payment and making reservations?
A: No, the hotel only accepts cash and major credit cards.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, the terms and conditions on the booking confirmation apply. You may cancel the booking via the hotel website, unless the package booked is prepaid or non-refundable. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your cancellation via your booking source.

Can I amend my reservations? Is there any penalty fee?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, you may amend your reservation via the website, subjected to the terms & conditions specified on the booking confirmation. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your amendments via your booking source.

How many people can stay in one room?
A: Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of 3 Adults. An extra bed will need to be purchased to allow for the 3rd adult. Child is allowed to share existing bed with parents.

How much is the extra bed?
A: Extra bed is charged at THB 1,000 nett including breakfast per night.

I have 2 kids, aged 6 and 14. Do I need to get an extra bed?
A: There is no Extra-bed charge for child 11yrs and below sharing existing bedding with parents. For child 12yrs and above, the Extra-bed is charged at THB 1,000 nett (the same rate as an adult) including breakfast.

I have a reservation under my name, can my friend check-in for me?
A: Yes, however guest is required to inform hotel of the friend’s name before check-in.

Can I pay my room in different currency?
A: No, hotel transactions are all in Thai baht.

Do you offer discounts for a group booking?
A: Please contact the hotel's Sales Department at sales.thailand@furama.com for discounted rate and conditions.

Does the internet rate include breakfast?
A: The rates listed on our website include breakfast unless otherwise indicated.

Are the prices shown on the web before or after discount?
A: The rates shown on the hotel website are after discount. There are no hidden charges and booking fees when rates are booked via our official website.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times of the hotel?
A: Check-in time 1400hr, check-out time 1200hr.

Is it possible to check-in earlier? Is so, what are the charges?
A: Early check in is subject to room availability at no charge. However if guest need to confirm early check in 50% of room rate for 1 night will be paid.

Can I have a late check-out? Is so, what are the charges?
A: Yes. Late check out is subject to room availability. Charges as follows:
12:01 - 16:00hrs : THB 600
16:01 - 1800hrs : Rate is charged at half day rate from the room rate. If booking was made through travel agent, a flat rate of THB 1,000 will be charged.
After 18:01hrs, 1 night charge will be applicable.

Do you offer a room rate for short stays (day use)?
A: No, we don’t. Guests can opt to get a late check out after one night stay.

Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
A: We have Twin-bedded room & Triple room (with extra bed). We do not have quadruple room, however we do have a 2 bedroom suite, which can accomodate 4 persons.

Are King size beds available in the rooms?
A: Yes, available upon request and subject to availability.

Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
A: Yes, we do. Some rooms categories offer a bathtub while others offer a standing shower.

What television channels are available in the rooms?
A: The following channels are provided. Subject to changes from time to time by supplier:
Thai television 3, Thai television 5, Thai television 7, Thai television 9, NBT, Thai PBS, BBC World News, NHK World, Nation Channel, Universal Channel, EUROSPORT Channel, Movies Channel, etc.,

Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?
A: Yes, we do.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?
A: Yes, most of our rooms are non-smoking and we have separate smoking and non-smoking floors are available upon request.

Are safety deposit boxes available at the hotel?
A: There are in-room safe box in all guest rooms.

Do you have a freezer in the rooms?
A: No, we only provide a refrigerator.

Do you have interconnecting rooms?
A: Yes, available upon request and subject to availability.

Do you offer free WiFi?
A: For all bookings made via the official website at www.furama.com, WiFi is complimentary.
For all other bookings, WIFI usage is chargeable unless the room package includes free WIFI access.

How much is breakfast?
A: Buffet breakfast is charged at THB 460 Nett per person.

Do you have rooms for disabled/wheelchair dependent persons?
A: No disabled room available.

Do your executive floors have any children rules or dress code?
A: No but for access to Executive Lounge, dress code must be smart and casual.


Where is breakfast served and at what times?
A: Breakfast is served at Rama Restaurant, located on the 2nd floor, from 6am to 10.30am.

How many restaurants do you have and what are they?
A: 2 outlets:
Rama Restaurant located on 2nd Floor. Offers a diversity of food selection ranging from traditional Thai to inventive international cuisine. Operating Hour starts at 06.00 hrs -22.00 hrs.
Sky Garden located on the roof top (20th Floor), offers a selection of creative beverages, cocktail and snacks amidst stunning panoramic views of Bangkok’s skyline. Operating Hour starts at 08.00 hrs -23.00 hrs.

Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?
A: A selection of vegetarian dishes are available.

Is halal cuisine available in the restaurants?
A: Halal cuisine is not availble, there are pork free menus.

Is a special menu available for children?
A: Yes.

Do you have 24-hour room service?
A: Yes. We do.

Is there a swimming pool in the hotel? Operating hours?
A: Yes, we have a swimming pool in the hotel on 20th Floor. Opening hours are 08:00 - 20:00hrs.

Is there a gym in the hotel? If so, what equipment do you have in the gym? Operating hours?
A: Yes, we have a fitness room located on the 5th floor with wide range of equipments such as electric treadmills, upright bike, sit up bench and dumbbells. Opening hours are 06:00 - 21:00hrs.

Is laundry service provided?
A: Yes, we provide laundry service for our guest.

Do you have a pet policy?
A: We regret that animals are not allowed in the hotel.

What is your hotel legal age to check-in?
A: 18yrs and above.

Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?

Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?
A: Yes, we have a tour desk at the hotel.

Do you have special facilities and services available for the disabled traveller?
A: Wheelchair will be provided for the disable traveller.

A: Yes, our Guest Service Executive will be pleased to assist you on your travel arrangements.

A: You can print out your boarding pass at the front desk.

Is a doctor available at the hotel?
A: There is no doctor on the premises, but we have 24hrs on-call doctor available.

Can I get a massage at the hotel?
A: Yes, you can contact service one to request an outsource massage.

How far is the nearest hospital to the hotel?
A: About 5-15 minutes (approximately) by car such as Bangkok Christian Hospital, BNH Hospital, Saint Louis Hospital. (All hospitals listed are private hospitals).

Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?
A: The nearest currency exchange is “superrich” and the nearest bank is “Siam Commercial Bank” or SCB, which is far from hotel just only 5 minutes walk.

What is the local currency?
A: Thai baht.

At what time do the banks open?
A: Mostly open time from 08.30 hrs. - 15.30 hrs. From Monday to Friday while the bank in most of shopping mall opens daily from 11.00 hrs. - 19.00 hrs.

Are there shops at the hotel?
A: None, but there are some near the hotel.

Can I connect my laptop in the room?
A: Yes, laptops can be connected to in-room LAN cable (available upon request) as well as wireless connection.

What newspapers do the hotel receive and can these be delivered to my room?
A: Bangkok Post, The Nation, Yumiuri Shimbun, Sing Sian Yer Pao Daily News.

Are meeting rooms available at the hotel?
A: Yes, we do have 2 meeting rooms on the 6 Floor and 8 Floor. You can contact our F&B Coordinator at +66 2688 6821 for more information.

Getting to the hotel / Travelling

How long does it take to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel and approximately how much does it cost?
A: 45 minutes to 1 hour. Approx 500 THB.

Do you have complimentary airport transfers?
A: No, we do not.

How do I get to the hotel from the nearest mrt station?
A: By BTS : Chong Nonsi Station
By MRT : Silom Station

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
A: Public transport (Airport limousine), Airport Rail Link.

How much parking space is available at the hotel?
A: Approximately 10-15 cars.

Is parking complimentary for room guests? F&B guests?
A: Yes, it’s complimentary for the all hotel’s guest.

What is the best way to get around the city?
A: We recommend arranging a private car with the tour desk or you can take taxi to get around the city.

A: Baby cots are available upon request.

A: Baby cot is complimentary.

Are “high chairs” available in the restaurants?
A: Yes.

General Information

What voltage do you use in Thailand?
A: The voltage in Thailand is 220 V.

What pin plug do you use in Thailand?
A: Thailand accepts both flat prongs (like in the U.S. and Japan) and round prongs (like much of Europe and Asia). View plug.

What is the VAT refund system in Thailand?
A: Tourists are able to claim back the VAT on larger purchases when they are exit the country at any major International Airports in Thailand.

Is it safe to drink tap water in Thailand?
A: We do not recommend to drink the tap water in Thailand. The hotel provides 2 complimentary drinking water per day in all guest rooms.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?
A: The weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant around October to February. The “hot season” is around March to May, when temperatures reach their highest. The “rainy season” is around June to September although it does not rain every day and the rain usually only lasts for an hour or so in the evening.

What should I wear in Thailand?
A: The dress code in Thailand is quite modest and so conservative dress is recommended. Shorts and sleeveless vests cannot be worn to visit a temple.

Shopping and Tourist Facilities

Are there any major shopping centres near the hotel? If so, where are they?
A: MBK Shopping Center, Siam  Center, Siam Paragon, Central World. These are located in the business area, not too far from the hotel. You can reach there by BTS, Bus or Taxi. 

How far is the hotel from the main shopping area?
A: About 0.5 km to Pat Pong Night Market. You can reach shopping areas such as Platinum, Pratunam or JJ Weekend Market by bus (Bus Card info is available at the front desk)

Is the hotel far from the BTS Sky Train /MRT station?
A: About 5-10 Minutes walk from the hotel to BTS (Chong Nonsi Station) and 15-20 Minutes walk from the hotel to MRT (Silom Station).

Are you close to the Theatres/Entertainment venues?
A: None for the theatres. But we are close to Entertainment Venues such as Pat Pong Night Market.

Can we book sightseeing tours directly at the hotel?
A: Yes, you can directly contact tour desk at the lobby floor.
