What types of rooms are available in the hotel and what are the differences between the different categories?
A: There are 13 categories of rooms: Studio, Superior, Deluxe, Tropical Room, Connecting Room, Theme Room, Family Room, Executive Club, Courtyard Club, Theme Courtyard Club, Executive Family Suite, Executive Theme Suite & Executive Suite.
- Studio rooms were newly renovated in 2021. They are cosily-sized from 12 to 15 square metres and have direct access to a pantry located on the same floor.
- Superior and Deluxe are differentiated by the floor levels (Superior rooms are located on lower floors) and bathroom amenities available (toothbrush, bathrobe, and lotion are provided in Deluxe).
- Tropical Rooms were newly refurbished in 2020 with a modern and vibrant concept. These rooms are non-carpeted.
- Connecting Rooms are a set of two inter-connecting rooms with a King in one room, two single beds in the other.
- Theme Rooms are equipped with kids-friendly amenities, a gaming console and furniture including a bunk bed (single and queen) and a pull-out bed, and little step-stool.
- Family Rooms have two Queen beds and special amenities for children aged 12 years old and below. The newer Premier Family Room (recently renovated in 2021), comes with one Queen bed and two Single bunk beds.
- Courtyard Club and Theme Courtyard Club, both have a direct pool access and an outdoor green terrace with water feature. No extra bed is allowed.
- Executive Family Suite includes a King bed and two single beds and it can accommodate up to four persons. It comes with complimentary breakfast and access to the Lounge for evening drinks.
- Executive Theme Suite features two separate bedrooms equipped with kids-friendly amenities and furniture, which includes a bunk bed (single and queen) and a master bedroom with a king bed.
- Executive Suite has a living room and a bedroom, it comes with complimentary breakfast and access to the Lounge for evening drinks.
Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
A: Room rates are based on per room.
Does my room reservation require any prepayment?
A: Yes, all online bookings require a prepayment upon booking.
Can I use my friend’s credit card to make a reservation?
A: Our payment gateway requires a One-Time-Password (OTP) from the credit card holder. You may use a friend’s credit card to make a reservation as long as choose to share this OTP with you.
Can I use Debit Card for room payment and making reservations?
A: Yes, as long as your debit card’s issuing bank is able to send you a One-time-Password (OTP) for verification purposes.
How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, the terms and conditions on the booking confirmation apply. You may cancel the booking via the hotel website, unless the package booked is prepaid or non-refundable. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your cancellation via your booking source.
Can I amend my reservations? Is there any penalty fee?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, you may make your amendment requests by emailing us, subjected to the terms & conditions specified on the booking confirmation. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your amendment requests via your booking source.
How many people can stay in one room?
A: It depends on the room category. Most rooms can only accommodate 2 adults. However, Superior, Deluxe, Tropical, and Executive Suite rooms can accommodate 2 adults, or 3 with an extra bed. Family rooms can accommodate up to 4 adults and Connecting Rooms can accommodate up to 5 adults with an extra bed.
How much is an extra bed per night?
A: Extra bed is charged at S$60 nett for Superior, Deluxe, and Tropical, S$110 nett for Executive Suite. Extra bed is not allowed in Executive Club & Courtyard Club.
I have 2 kids, aged 6 and 14. Do I need to get an extra bed?
A: Children below 12 years of age stay for free using existing bedding. Extra bed for child is charged the same rate as an adult.
I have a reservation under my name, can my friend check-in for me?
A: Yes, however you are required to inform the hotel in writing, of your friend's name before check-in.
Can I pay my room in a different currency?
A: No, hotel transactions are all in Singapore Dollars.
Do you offer discounts for a group booking?
A: For group bookings, kindly contact our sales team at sales.riverfront@furama.com.
Does the internet rate include breakfast?
A: No, unless it is on promotion.
Are the prices shown on the web before or after discount?
A: The rates shown on the hotel website are after discount. There are no hidden charges and booking fees when rates are booked via our official website.
Is it possible to check-in earlier? Is so, what are the charges?
A: If arrival is before 1000hrs, it is advisable to pre-book the room a day earlier. If check-in is after 1000hrs and before 1400hrs, early check-in is still subject to availability, on a request basis with no additional charge. If you book directly via our official website, you may select the optional add-on of early check-in at 9am at a discounted rate. Do note that this is only applicable at the time of booking.
Can I have a late check-out? If so, what are the charges?
A: For late check-out before 6pm, rates are charged at a half day rate, for check-out after 6pm, full day rates apply. If you book directly via our official website, you may select the optional add-on of late check-out at 6pm at a discounted rate. Do note that this is only applicable at the time of booking.
Do you offer a room rate for short stays (day use)?
A: No, we do not.
Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
A: We have twin, triple and family (2 queen beds) rooms.
Are King beds available in the rooms?
A: King beds are available from Deluxe rooms onwards.
Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
A: Yes, available upon request and subject to availability.
Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?
A: Yes.
Do you have non-smoking rooms?
A: Yes.
Are safety deposit boxes available at the hotel?
A: There are in-room safe box in all guest rooms.
Do you have a freezer in the rooms?
A: No.
How much is breakfast?
A: Buffet breakfast at Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant (level 3) is chargeable at S$20.00++ per person. If you book directly via our official website, you may select the optional add-on of breakfast at a discounted rate. Do note that this is only applicable at the time of booking.
Do you have wheelchair-friendly rooms?
A: Yes, subject to availability.
Do your executive floors have any children rules or dress code?
A: There is no charge for children below 5 years of age. There is a $15.00++ charge for breakfast for children age 5 years and above. Please observe the dress code, slippers and shorts are not allowed.
Can we store our luggage before/after check-out?
A: Yes, please approach our Concierge for assistance.
Is smoking allowed in the Courtyard rooms?
A: No.
What is the measurement of the extra bed?
A: 0.90 metre by 1.9 metre.
Where is breakfast served and at what time?
A: Buffet breakfast is served at Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant (level 3) from 0600hrs to 1030hrs.
How much is child breakfast?
A: SGD $15.00++ per child.
How many restaurants do you have and what are they?
A: We have 1 restaurant, Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant that serves halal buffet.
Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurant?
A: Limited ala carte menu is available.
Is halal cuisine available in the restaurants?
A: Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant is a 100% halal certified restaurant.
Is a special menu available for children?
A: Ala carte kids' menu is available.
Do you have 24-hour room service?
A: Yes.
Is there a swimming pool in the hotel?
A: Yes, the pool is open from 0600hrs to 2200hrs.
What is the depth & size of the swimming pool?
A: The pool is 1.2 metre deep and the size is 30 metres by 12 metres.
Does the hotel have jacuzzi?
A: Yes, and the depth of the jacuzzi is 0.9 metre.
Is there a gym in the hotel? If so, what equipment do you have in the gym? Operating hours?
A: Yes, the hotel gym is well equipped with treadmills, dumbbells, weight lifting machines, elliptical machine. Opening hours are from 0600hrs to 2200hrs.
Is laundry service provided?
A: Yes.
What are the charges for parking?
A: From 0701hrs to 17005hrs parking is at $1.09 (inclusive of GST) for each 30 minutes. From 1701hrs to 0700hrs parking is at $4.36 per entry (Inclusive of GST).
What is the price for Season Parking?
A: It is at SGD 163.50 per month.
What is height limit for carpark?
A: They are 2 meters for Tropical B1 Carpark and 4.3 meters via Annex Block.
Does the hotel have Valet Service?
A: No, we do not have valet service.
Do you have a pet policy?
A: Yes, pets are not allowed in the hotel.
Is durian allowed in the hotel?
A: No, durians are strictly not allowed in the hotel premises.
What is the legal age to check-in?
A: The legal age to check-in is 18 years old and above.
Are there any self-check-in kiosks?
A: Yes, there are three self-check-in kiosks at the hotel lobby.
Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?

Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?
A: Yes, there is a tour counter in the hotel lobby.
Can the hotel reconfirm my ongoing flight and make arrangements for domestic and international flights?
A: Yes, for international flights.
Where can I print my boarding pass?
A: We have self-service printing at The Provisions, level 1 located at the central counter in the hotel lobby.
Is a doctor available at the hotel?
A: We can contact doctor services within an hour.
How far is the nearest hospital to the hotel?
A: It is 15 minutes' drive away.
Can I get a massage at the hotel?
A: There is no massage services available at the hotel.
Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?
A: The hotel provides foreign currency exchange services, alternatively they are available at Great World City / Tiong Bahru Plaza / China Town.
What is the local currency?
A: Singapore Dollar.
What time do the banks open?
A: The opening hours for banks vary, most banks are open from 0930hrs to 1630hrs.
Are there shops at the hotel?
A: Yes, we have a 7-Eleven convenience store. There are also plenty of vending machines located within the hotel.
How do I sign up as a member?
A: Please download the Furama Hotel app from Apps Store and register an account, or visit https://www.furama.com/furamafirst/register.
Can I connect my laptop in the room?
A: Yes.
Are meeting rooms available at the hotel?
A: Yes, kindly send the request through to our Catering Sales at banquet.riverfront@furama.com.
How long does it take to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel and approximately how much does it cost?
A: It takes 26 minutes by taxi and costs about 25-35 Singapore Dollars depending on time of the day and type of cab.
Do you have complimentary airport transfers?
A: No, we do not have complimentary airport transfer.
How do I get to the hotel from the nearest MRT station?
A: From Havelock Station, take Exit 5 and walk towards the traffic light at Outram Road, cross over and walk 2mins to Furama RiverFront.
From Tiong Bahru Station, take Exit B and walk to the bus stop (bus stop number: 10169) at Tiong Bahru Plaza, Tiong Bahru Road. Take buses (5, 16, 123, 195). Alight at Blk 2B, Zion Road, 2 stops later. Walk to Furama RiverFront Singapore.
From Outram Park Station, take Exit A and walk to the bus stop opposite Outram Park MRT, Outram Road (bus stop number: 06011). Take buses (75, 121, 970). Alight at Blk 2B, Zion Road, 2 stops later. Walk to Furama RiverFront Singapore.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
A: Taxi or limousine will be the best option.
How much parking space is available at the hotel?
A: 260 lots are available in our 7-storey multi-storey carpark.
Is parking complimentary for room guests? F&B guests?
A: Yes, complimentary parking coupon is available.
What is the best way to get around the city?
A: Travel mode varies based on the location. You could take guided tours during the day, or catch the shuttle bus to the city for a bout of shopping. If you are not pressed for time, join the locals as they commute via the MRT (train) or bus. Most places of interests, like the Singapore Zoo, are a little distance off central Singapore. In cases like this, it would be a quicker journey to travel by taxi.
Is a child seat compulsory for use in cars in Singapore?
A: Children under 8 years of age must be belted into an appropriate child restraint when travelling in front and rear seats of cars in Singapore. However, car seats are not compulsory in taxis although they are still highly recommended where possible.
Is a babysitting service available?
A: Yes, please make arrangements with the hotel associates at least a day in advance. The service is only limited to child/children age 1 year old and above, with necessary charges apply.
Are baby cots available for the rooms?
A: Baby cots are available upon request, except for Courtyard Club.
Is baby cot chargeable?
A: Baby cot is complimentary.
Do you have Kids Room/Area in the hotel?
A: Yes, we have an indoor kid playground in the hotel lobby.
Are “high chairs” available in the restaurants?
A: Yes, baby chairs are available.

How many Theme Rooms and Theme Suites are in the Hotel?
There are 4 Theme Rooms: 2 Underwater, 1 Pirate and 1 Castle. And there are 2 Theme Suites: Safari and Policeman & Fireman.
What voltage do you use in Singapore?
A: Local voltage for usage of electrical appliances is from 220volts to 240volts.
What pin plug do you use in Singapore?
A: Singapore uses the G type plug and socket.
Does the hotel provide free universal adaptor?
A: Yes, complimentary upon request. (Subject to availability)
What is the GST refund system in Singapore?
A: GST is refunded on goods purchase only, with conditions apply, please refer to Singapore GST Refund Scheme website at https://www.customs.gov.sg.
Is it safe to drink tap water in Singapore?
A: Yes, it is safe to drink from the tap water directly in Singapore.
What is the weather like at different times of the year?
A: Rain and shine throughout the year.
What should I wear in Singapore?
A: Thin and light clothing comfortable for usage in tropical climate or summer.
Are there any major shopping centres near the hotel? If so, where are they?
A: Orchard Road shopping belt, Chinatown shopping area, Vivo City shopping mall.
How far is the hotel from the main shopping area?
A: 10 to 15 mins by taxi.
Is the hotel far from the MRT?
A: Havelock MRT station is the nearest and it is 5 minutes' walk away.
Are you close to the Theatres/Entertainment venues?
A: Great World City has a variety of shops, ranging from a cinema, children's specialty stores, convenience stores, money changers, shoes, fashion as well as bakeries, restaurants, food court and fast food.
