Singapore, 12 September 2014 – Furama Hotels International Management Pte Ltd (FHI), Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Shirlena Tan joins the senior leadership team to oversee the operation, management and strategy of the sales and marketing teams across the Asia Pacific region.
Tan joins the hotel management group, based in Singapore, with about 20 years of hospitality experience gathered across various four and five star properties. Tan was previously in the sales teams at Furama City Centre and Furama RiverFront for a few years, before her recent position as the Director of Sales Planning and Development at Goodwood Park Hotel for the last nine years.
Tan will play a vital role in overseeing and driving the long-term sales and marketing strategy, increasing the group market share and elevating the hotels towards greater growth in the region amidst increasing competitive market and changing travel trends. The leadership team at the hotel management group is led by Vice President of Operations for FHI, Welly Jamin.
