Singapore has several massive malls but VivoCity is the biggest of them all. As the name suggests, it is almost a shopping city in itself. Located at HarbourFront, this mall has the best designer and regular brands, and everything from apparel and accessories to electronics and home products.
Shop all you want as there is a vast range of merchandise for men, women and children. In fact, kids will have a blast at Toys “R” Us which is the company’s biggest toy store in Singapore. There are big brands across categories including Calvin Klein, Chanel, Armani, Gap, H&M, LEGO, Michael Kors, Nike and DKNY. If you prefer smaller yet unique brands, those too are available in abundance. You can also relax at the food courts, head to the multiplex for a movie and take your kids to the open air playground or the sky park on the rooftop.
Orchard Road

A long, leafy avenue spread over 2.2 km, Orchard Road is a must-visit destination for shopaholics. Malls, boutique outlets and shops line this road offering luxury brands as well as regular shopping. At night, it looks glitzy and glamorous–you won’t be able to resist its allure. Try Ngee Ann City shopping complex which houses Japanese department store Takashimaya as well as designer brands. Another highlight here is Kinokuniya, Singapore’s largest book store offering Asian as well as English language books.
Also located on Orchard Road is ION Orchard with has an interestingly designed façade and the best brands available inside. Clarke Quay

While Clarke Quay is known for its fantastic night life and wonderful eateries, it also has some great places for shopping. With a lovely riverside location that looks stunning at night, this historical area is an excellent place to shop, eat and relax. It has small shops and pushcarts selling all kinds of merchandise. Hop on a river taxi to go from one place to another in the area. The relaxing rides add to the fun of your shopping experience. Chinatown Street Market

The area has a distinctive look with colourful lanterns, calligraphy signs, souvenir stalls, temples and Chinese market shops offering a range of products at low rates. One of the best times to visit is during the Chinese New Year. Stroll along the street stalls and shops that offer souvenirs such as keychains, fridge magnets, jewellery, fabrics and clothes including traditional Chinese cheong sams or qi paos, beauty products, Chinese medicines and spices. China Square Central Flea Market on 18 Cross Street offers a quirky shopping experience on Sundays with its chinaware, toys, antiques, comic books and more. Little India

Another splendid place for cultural sights and shopping, Little India offers a slice of Indian life to its visitors. As you take a walk through Serangoon Road and other adjoining areas, colourful sights and aromatic scents fill the air. Flower sellers, Indian jewellery, clothes, colourful saris in different fabrics, henna salons, Indian spices and sweets abound in the street shops as well as places such as Little India Arcade. There are plenty of places to eat so you won’t go hungry. One of the best times to visit Little India is during Deepavali the festival of lights that is celebrated in October or November. Mustafa Centre is another popular shopping complex in the area. Shop at this mall any time day or night as it is open 24 hours. So if you get up in the middle of the night and feel like shopping, you know where to go!
