6 Things To Check Out At Dreamworld Bangkok
Dreamworld is situated a few kilometers out of Bangkok in the Rangsit area and it’s easy to get there by bus or a taxi. However, Dreamworld’s official website offers “transfer” packages that include pick and drop services. You’ll be picked up from your hotel or any other accommodation in Bangkok and dropped back at your place at the end of the day. If you are in Bangkok and you have already explored most of the famous attractions and tourist areas or you feel like out of options, a day trip to Dreamworld is something worth trying that’ll rejuvenate you in the true sense. It opens at 10 AM and closes at 5 PM on weekdays however on weekends it closes at 7 PM. It suits all the age groups as kids, adults and elders have got many activities and attractions to keep themselves amused here. There is a KFC, a well-established food court, some food stalls, tuck shops and plenty of restrooms around the area to keep you refreshed.
Now let’s talk about fun and interesting things that you should check out while visiting Dreamworld so fasten your seat belts and let your imagination follow my lead.
Photopia

Dreamworld is full of beautiful plants, flowers, artificial waterfalls and loads of fun activities. Some areas are designed and decorated according to popular movies themes such as the city of Shire from the "Lord of the rings" and right next to it is a whole section named "Photopia" for all the modern travelers and millennials who like to take nice pictures to post on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat or other such social media platforms.
By entering the gates of “Photopia” you’ll find yourself among characters and mockups of scenes from Disney fairytales allowing you to be a part of the euphoria before your companions take a memorable photo for you. There are also a lot of photo ops featuring Super Mario, Mr Bean, Pink Panther and a headless statue of James bond 007 with his arm around his girlfriend’s waist. You and your partner can place the face on the statues to get a memorable 007 photograph.
Hurricane

The way “Hurricane” flips, twists and turns you and the way it catches you off guard when you have prepared your mind for its next move is the best thing about this ride. It looks very magical when the fountains go off in front of you at the end of the ride. Hurricane is pretty safe and the staff takes all the necessary measures before initiating the ride. Kids shorter than 130 cm are not allowed to ride “Hurricane” to avoid any risk.
Sky coaster

That’s actually a roller coaster however they have named it “Sky coaster” because there is also another roller coaster here which takes you to on an exciting ride in the pitch dark setting and hence it is called the “Black-hole coaster”. The sky coaster ride is superb and if you are brave enough to keep your eyes open it gives you a chance to enjoy the mesmerizing view of coconut and banana plantations scattered outside the wall of Dreamworld.
Black-hole coaster

The black-hole ride is basically a roller coasting experience in a dark setting with an occasional flicker of lamps at certain turns. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this exciting ride may recall the memory of Harry Potter’s first visit to Gringotts Wizarding Bank where he rides a rollercoaster to reach his vault however the black-hole coaster will just bring you back to the starting point. You might experience something else, something even more exciting but rest assured that you’ll come out with a wide smile on your face after this ride.
Super Splash

As the name suggests - get ready for a super duper splash before trying it. By getting ready I literally mean buying a plastic raincoat to cover yourself well if you don’t want your clothes to get wet. You’ll be seated in a boat - slowly moved towards a big slide and finally slid down for the splash. On a side note getting wet on a hot day in Bangkok is nothing less than a pleasant surprise.
Snow Town

Snow town is not only an exciting escape from Bangkok’s heat but it actually makes you miss the hot weather after you spend few minutes in freezing temperature inside the huge room full of characters of “Ice Age” a cute igloo and a big ice slide. While shivering with cold in the snow town you can take cute photographs with life-size mammoths and polar bears as well as challenge your friends on the ice slide.
