Bali is a place that has a little bit of everything for everyone. There are gorgeous beaches for lazy bums, there are fun cafes for Instagram fanatics, there are sunrise treks and coral reefs for adventure seekers, and there are temples for culture buffs. Something that connects all of them together is the love – or at least need – for food. And that’s yet another thing that the people of Bali know how to do right! Not only are there dirt cheap local eateries that are perfectly welcoming towards tourists as well, and not only are there restaurants that will fill your stomachs with good food and Instagram feeds with pretty pictures, there are also restaurants that offer absolutely stunning views to your eyes that you just cannot let yourself miss out on! Check below for the list of the restaurants with the best views in Bali!

Alam Sambangan, Singaraja

Located almost right next to the entrance to Aling Aling Waterfalls, as well as the other waterfalls of the area, Alam Sambangan offers views of the tree-covered mountains, with fully outdoor seating. If you need shade, there are many tables placed so that you won’t have to endure direct sunlight. But if the sun doesn’t bother you, there are hammocks, bean chairs, and swings to take a relaxing break after your meal or while you are waiting for it, all the while taking in the stunning views. On the premises, there is also an infinity pool if you really want to make it a day. On the menu, they offer a variety of Western favorites, from breakfast foods to pizza, in addition to which there are also local dishes available – on and off the menu. It’s a great place to grab a meal and let your feet take a rest after exploring the nearby waterfalls!

La Costa Beach Lounge, Lovina

At a quick glance, the beach that La Costa Beach Lounge resides on may not seem like anything extraordinary. However, on top of the fun experience of eating your dinner right by the ocean, you actually get to view one incredible sunset while at this beach. Nothing ordinary about it! Their food is reasonably priced, cheap even, and they offer a wonderful mix of Western and local cuisines, including plenty of dishes you may not find in many other restaurants on the island. Don’t forget to try out their cocktails as well! Afterwards – or why not while you’re waiting for your food – take a stroll on the beach, one that is bound to be soft and peaceful.

Lakeview, Kintamani

Though you may not find this restaurant on a lot of “Best Instagrammable Restaurants in Bali” posts floating out there, it’s definitely worth it for the views you get when you glance outside of the restaurant. Lakeview – and a dozen restaurants located right next to it – is located so that you can see the gorgeous sights of both Mount Batur and Mount Agung from right where you’re eating! Essentially, you’ll get one of the most visually beautiful eating experiences ever by finding yourself a seat from the restaurant’s balcony. To add to an already memorable lunch – or dinner – the Lakeview restaurant also operates on a buffet concept, offering you a cheap but big buffet filled with delicious local dishes.

Mahagiri, Karangasem

Mahagiri is another great buffet restaurant with a view! This one is particularly popular and famous with the Western travelers, especially tour groups. It is located overlooking Sidemen rice terraces, giving you an intriguing atmosphere to dine in. Much like Lakeview, it has a buffet table with ample amounts of foods to choose from, and you are welcome to fill up your plate as many times as your belly can handle. For those who might enjoy a beer or a cocktail with their meals while on a holiday, Mahagiri has got you covered. And thanks to the views, if you need to take a break between courses, you can throw on a small photoshoot in between!

Tsavo Lion, Gianyar

Located inside Bali Safari & Marine Park, Tsavo Lion just may be worth the visit. It is most definitely on the higher end of prices when it comes to their food and drinks, but is that really a surprise? Their cocktail menu comprises of a few selected signature drinks only available at Tsavo Lion, and then a bunch of worldwide favorites. The food is similar to what you might find at an upscale restaurant in your home town, although tastiness of your meal does thankfully come with the price tag. Their menu is also entirely kid friendly – it is a restaurant located within an animal park, after all. What gets it to earn a spot on this list, however? Well, on the other side of the wall of windows is the area where Bali Safari Park’s lions hang out at! That’s right, you get all up close and almost personal with these big wild kitties, but without the added factor of being right in their space and instead letting them chill while you ogle at them with every bite of your steak. If you happen to go at the right time of the evening, there are also fire and dance shows arranged right outside of the restaurant.

Jimbaran Bay beach restaurants, Jimbaran Bay

There is no specific restaurant to recommend for this area, as there is a whole big section of the beach filled with small restaurants! Most of the tables are facing the beach, giving you the perfect possible view of Jimbaran Bay’s gorgeous sunset. And it is not one to be missed on your trip to Bali! A lot of the restaurants specialize in seafood dishes. However, if you are not seafood’s biggest friend, or otherwise not in the mood for any, there are some other options available on the menu as well. If one restaurant’s menu doesn’t have the dish your belly is seeking for, there are a dozen others to choose from right next door!
