The café also houses a big collection of books so while you are there, you can walk around and check the cabinets to find any book that suits your taste. The atmosphere resembles to that of a library and silence is appreciated however during the exam season students from different schools and universities crowd this cafe and sometimes the constructive interference of their murmurs starts becoming an unpleasant noise if you are sitting close to them. To enter the café you just need to buy something to eat or drink at the reception which will also make you eligible for their Wi-Fi password that works for next three hours however you may sit at the cafe for as long as you want.

Nap lab is a superb café where you can relax as well as work or study. The prices start at only a hundred baht for four hours and two hundred baht for twelve hours which makes this place affordable for everyone. This café also houses a library, fitness center, showers, private nap area and separate areas for reading, discussions and meetings. The decoration and design is very stylish and you can buy tea, coffee and snacks at reasonable prices while you work or study here. The staff cannot speak and understand English very well which can be a little inconvenient sometimes if you are a demanding person.

 

Starbucks, Central World

Currently this is the biggest Starbucks outlet in Thailand with a huge space in the heart of Thailand’s shopping paradise. Apart from great coffee, this place allows you to use free internet for the whole day on any purchase and enjoy the vast and comfortable sitting area and plenty of sockets for charging your appliances. The restrooms are neat and clean and staff is very friendly and caring which makes this place perfect for work or study however it only operate from 10 AM to 10 PM every day including weekend. Weather in Bangkok is mostly hot but inside the Starbucks it’s a different story – it would be better if you bring an upper or even a sweater to cover yourself as the café gets too cold sometimes which might be an inconvenience for some of you.

 

Clue 49

While Starbucks is an expensive place as compared to other cafes, Clue 49 is a reasonable place in the vicinity of Starbucks Central World which is dedicated for those who want to work or study. They have partitioned the area into several separate rooms and have provided a comparatively bigger room for meetings and presentations. You can use the fast internet, order a coffee or cold pressed fresh orange juice while spending time in this café located on the sixth floor of Siam Square one. Here you get a separate area for work, study or a short nap if you feel tired for just 49 baht per hour.

Casa Lapin café on the Phaya Thai road near Ratchathevi BTS station is not only a great place for coffee enthusiasts but also serves as a quiet and calm place for work or study. The ambience is very soothing and the lights are not very bright therefore this place is better for those who want to work on their laptops, tablets or phones between 7 AM and 10 PM throughout the week.
