 As the world gradually recovers from the worldwide crisis of COVID-19, we are proud to share that FX Hotel Metrolink Makkasan has not only emerged cleaner, but stronger than it was before.

To address concerns brought about by the global pandemic, FX Hotel Metrolink Makkasan has adopted a multi-pronged approach to elevate its cleanliness and safety standards. Many strict precautionary measures have been implemented to provide a safe environment for both our staff and guests.
We are SHA certified.

General Hygiene measures:
A thorough disinfection and sanitisation of public areas, guests rooms and equipment with high touch points.
Provision of hand sanitizers around the public area.
Visitors to the hotel will be required to wear masks. No exceptions will be made.

CONTACT TRACING AND TEMPERATURE CHECKS:
All guests, employees, contractors and suppliers will have to check in and out of the hotel premises via Thai Chana application for contact tracing purposes.
Temperature checks are mandatory for everyone entering the hotel premise.
Details of guests may be requested before their arrival to reduce waiting time.

SOCIAL DISTANCING AND AWARENESS RULES:
Social distancing rules will be applied to chairs and furniture arrangement across all public and dining areas.
Regular training for our staff to ensure proper hygiene and awareness.

PUBLIC AREA AND HOTEL ROOMS:
Corridors, room and all other public areas within the hotel are disinfected with sprays once every seven days.
Availability of on-call housekeeping, where guests can request any additional toiletries, linens and towels.
Guestrooms will be closed for deep cleaning for 24 hours prior to a new guest's check-in.
Fitness rooms will remain accessible to a limited number of guests daily.

Meetings and EventS:
Seats will be arranged at least one metre apart for all meetings and events.
Event venues will be sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectants before and after an event.
Guestrooms will be closed for deep cleaning for 24 hours prior to a new guests’ check-in.
Participants for all events are to be wearing masks.

Food and beveraGE:
Room service will be available 24 hours.
Culinary team will be using masks and gloves at all times.
Encouraging takeaways and further enhance non-contact delivery services.
Precautionary measures

• Ensuring that social distancing of at least one metre or one and a half meters is in place at all public areas.
• Provision of hand sanitisers at public areas.

Enhanced measures
General
• Visitors to the hotel will be required to wear masks accordingly – no exceptions will be made.
• Chairs and furniture will be arranged with social distancing rules in mind.
• Thermometers will be available at front desk and main entrance to conduct temperature checks for our guests, including staff (subject to availability)
• Provision of medical/ surgical mask and/or masks for our guests and employees upon request.
• Regular training of our staff to ensure proper hygiene and awareness.
• Details of guests will be collected before their arrival, to reduce the time that the guests spend at the lobby.

Public area and hotel rooms

• Cleaning protocols at high traffic areas and public areas, for instance the lobby, front desk, fitness rooms, sky bar, pool, restaurant counter, kids area as well as areas that are considered to be high-touch points throughout the hotel (under the Ministry of Public Health and other related ​ government organizations).
• On call housekeeping, where guests can request any additional toiletries, linens and towels is available.
• Guestrooms will be closed for deep cleaning for 24 hours prior to a new guests’ check-in.
• Quality disinfectants will be used for deep cleaning and sanitisation of public areas and rooms.
• Hand sanitizer stations will be placed at public areas (including lobby, front desk, near elevators, restrooms, and fitness rooms).
• Fitness room will remain accessible to a limited number of guests daily.

Meetings and events
• All events will have seats with 1-metre apart to 1.5 meters apart.
• Event venues will be sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectants before and after an event.
• Event venues will be deep cleaned prior to the event’s commencement (within 24 hours) by ​ our Housekeeping team. Deep cleansing will also take place after the event is over.
• Washrooms will be sanitised frequently.
• Participants for all events will be required to fill in a health declaration form.
• Participants for all events are to be wearing masks.
• The hotel will provide medical masks or masks to participants (subject to availability) if the guest does not have one.

Food and beverage
• The use of UV lights to disinfect all cutleries, which will effectively kill all bacteria. 
• Encouraging takeaways and further enhance delivery services.
• Room service will be available 24 hours.
• Culinary team will be using masks and gloves at all times.
• “Grab & Go” concept; our culinary team will prepare ready-to-eat items, made fresh daily.
• We will be partnering with local markets and culinary teams in various locations so that our guests will be able to experience and enjoy the best local products and ​ foods from the comfort of our hotel.
• Additional deep cleaning at locations with high touch surfaces such as fitness, front desk, pool, and restaurant outlets.
• Hand sanitizer station will be placed in public areas (Reception counter at the spa)
• Pool will be deep cleaned on a daily basis.
• Jacuzzi and pool will remain accessible to a limited number of guests daily.
