Rooms and Rates


What types of rooms are available in the hotel and what are the differences between the different categories?
A: There are 5 categories of rooms: Superior, Deluxe, Executive Club, Courtyard Club & Executive Suite.

  • Superior and Deluxe are differentiated by the bathroom amenities available:- toothbrush, bathrobe and lotion are provided in Deluxe.
  • Executive Club comes with free access to Executive Club Lounge for breakfast and evening cocktails.
  • Courtyard Club offers an extended open concept courtyard that leads directly to the swimming pool, guests have free access to Executive Club Lounge for breakfast and evening cocktails.
  • Executive Suite has a living room and a bedroom, includes free access to Executive Club Lounge for breakfast and evening cocktails.


Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
A: Room rates are based on per room. Prices shown on the website include taxes and service charge.

Does my room reservation require any guarantee?
A: Yes, all online bookings require a guarantee.

Can I book using my friends’ credit card to make my reservations?
A: Yes, we will require your friend to fill up a 3rd party authorisation form to allow hotel to process the charge.

Can I use Debit Card for room payment and making reservations?
A: No, the hotel only accepts cash and major credit cards.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, the terms and conditions on the booking confirmation apply. You may cancel the booking via the hotel website, unless the package booked is prepaid or non-refundable. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your cancellation via your booking source.

Can I amend my reservations? Is there any penalty fee?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, you may amend your reservation via the website, subjected to the terms & conditions specified on the booking confirmation. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your amendments via your booking source.

How many people can stay in one room?
A: Superior and Deluxe rooms allow a maximum of 3 adults to a room or 2 adults and 2 young children. Executive Club & Courtyard Club allow 2 adults only – Child is allowed to share existing bed with parents.

How much is the extra bed?
A: Extra bed is charged at S$60 nett for Superior & Deluxe, S$110 nett for Executive Suite. Extra bed is not allowed in Executive Club & Courtyard Club.

I have 2 kids, aged 6 and 14. Do I need to get an extra bed?
A: Children below 12 years of age stay for free using existing bedding. Extra bed for child is charged the same rate as an adult.

I have a reservation under my name, can my friend check-in for me?
A: Yes, however guest is required to inform hotel of the friend’s name before check-in.

Can I pay my room in different currency?
A: No, hotel transactions are all in Singapore Dollar.

Do you offer discounts for a group booking?
A: For group bookings, kindly contact our Leisure Sales Manager at sales.riverfront@furama.com.

Does the internet rate include breakfast?
A: No, unless it is on promotion.

Are the prices shown on the web before or after discount?
A: The rates shown on the hotel website are after discount. There are no hidden charges and booking fees when rates are booked via our official website.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times of the hotel?
A: Check-in time 1400hr, check-out time 1200hr.

Is it possible to check-in earlier? Is so, what are the charges?
A: If arrival is before 1000hrs, it is advisable to pre-block room a day earlier. If check-in is after 1000hrs and before 1400hrs, early check-in is still subject to availability, on a request basis but no additional charge.

Can I have a late check-out? Is so, what are the charges?
A: For check-out by 6pm, rates are charged at half day, for check-out from 6pm, full day rates apply.

Do you offer a room rate for short stays (day use)?
A: No, we don’t. Guests can opt to get a late check-out after one night stay.

Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
A: We have twin, triple and classic (1 queen bed & 1 single bed) rooms.

Are King size beds available in the rooms?
A: Yes, available upon request and subject to availability.

Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
A: Yes, available upon request and subject to availability.

What television channels are available in the rooms?
A: Mediacorp Channel 5 / 8 / Channel U / Suria / Vasantham / OKTO / Channel NewsAsia / CNN / CCTV-4 / Australia Network / NHK World / Deutsche Welle / Russia Today / TV 1 / TVR1

Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?
A: Yes.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?
A: Yes.

Are safety deposit boxes available at the hotel?
A: There are in-room safe box in all guest rooms.

Do you have a freezer in the rooms?
A: No.

Do you have interconnecting rooms?
A: Yes, available upon request and subject to availability.

Do you offer free wifi?
A: For all bookings made via the official website at www.furama.com, wifi is complimentary.
For all other bookings, only Executive Club, Courtyard Club & Executive Suite enjoy free wifi.

How much is breakfast?
A: Buffet breakfast at The Square @ Furama for S$25.00 nett per person.

Do you have rooms for disabled/wheelchair dependent persons?
A: We have one room for disabled/wheelchair dependent persons.

Do your executive floors have any children rules or dress code?
A: There is no charge for children below 5years. There is a $18++ for breakfast and evening cocktail for children 5 years and above.
Please observe the dress code, No slippers and shorts.

Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?
A: Limited ala carte menu available.

A: Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant is a 100% halal certified restaurant.

Is a special menu available for children?
A: Ala carte kids menu is available.

Do you have 24-hour room service?
A: Yes.

A: Yes, open from 0600hr to 2200hr.

A: Yes, our hotel is well equipped with treadmills, dumbbells, weight lifting machines, elliptical machine. Opening hours from 0600hr to 2200hr.

Is laundry service provided?
A: Yes.

A: Yes.

What newspapers do the hotel receive and can these be delivered to my room?
A: We have Straits Times (English) or Lian He Zhao Bao (Chinese). We do have Japanese newspaper, however these are available at a charge.

Are meeting rooms available at the hotel?

Getting to the hotel / Travelling


How long does it take to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel and approximately how much does it cost?
A: It takes 25 minutes by taxi and costs about 25-35 Singapore Dollars depending on time of the day and type of cab.

Do you have complimentary airport transfers?
A: No, we do not.

How do I get to the hotel from the nearest mrt station?
A: From Tiong Bahru Station
Take Exit B and walk to the bus stop (bus stop number: 10169) at Tiong Bahru Plaza, Tiong Bahru Road.
Take buses (5, 16, 123, 195). Alight at Blk 2B, Zion Road, 2 stops later.
Walk to Furama Riverfront Singapore.

From Outram Station
Take Exit A and walk to the bus stop opposite Outram Park Mrt, Outram Road (bus stop number: 06011).
Take buses (75, 121, 970). Alight at Blk 2B, Zion Road, 2 stops later.
Walk to Furama Riverfront Singapore.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
A: Taxi or limousine will be the best option.

How much parking space is available at the hotel?
A: 260 lots are available in our multi-storey carpark.

Is parking complimentary for room guests? F&B guests?
A: Car park is free only for in-house guests.

Are there any shuttle buses to shopping areas? Is so, what are the timings?
A: Yes, we provide 5 trips daily to Chinatown and Orchard Road. Click here to download the shuttle bus timing.

What is the best way to get around the city?
A: Travel mode varies based on location. You could take guided tours during the day, or catch the shuttle bus to the city for a bout of shopping. If you are not pressed for time, join the locals as they commute via the MRT (train) or bus. Most places of interests, like the Singapore Zoo, are a little distance off central Singapore, in cases like this, it would be a quicker journey by cab.

Travelling With Children


Is a child seat compulsory for use in cars in Singapore?
A: Children under 8 yrs of age must be belted into an appropriate child restraint when travelling in front and rear seats of cars in Singapore. However car seats are not compulsory in Taxis although still highly recommended where possible.

Is a babysitting service available?
A: Yes, please make arrangements at least a day in advance.

What facilities are available for children?
A: Baby cots and baby chairs are available.

Are baby cots available for the rooms?
A: Baby cots are available upon request, except for Courtyard Club.

Is baby cot chargeable?
A: Baby cot is complimentary.

Do you have Kids Room/Area in the hotel?
A: Yes, we have a Kids Activity room in the lobby as well as one for diners in The Square@Furama. There is also an inflatable water slide at the pool area. We do have Family Rooms as well as Themed Rooms.

Are “high chairs” available in the restaurants?
A: Baby chairs are available.

A: Local voltage for usage of electrical appliances is from 220volts to 240volts.

What pin plug do you use in Singapore?

A: Great World City has a variety of shops, ranging from a cinema, children’s specialty stores, convenience stores, money changers, shoes, fashion as well as bakeries, restaurants, food court and fast food.

Can we book sightseeing tours directly at the hotel?
A: Yes, we have a tour counter at the hotel lobby.
