Welcome the Year of the Goat with an auspicious Lion Dance Performance at Furama RiverFront, Singapore and Furama City Centre, Singapore!
The lion dance is believed to bring good luck and fortune to the business. Many businesses will invite the lion dance troupes to visit the houses and shops.
There will be a performance accompanied by drums and cymbals. The lion will perform the traditional custom of "cai qing", which means "pluck the greens". The lion will set out to pluck the auspicious green vegetables tied together with an ang pow hung on a very high place or just placed on a table in front of the premise.
