Do not be deceived by this tiny island known worldwide for its world class infrastructure, skyscrapers and business efficiencies, there are many things to see and do in Singapore. Numerous attractions have been sprouting up all over country, the newest being the Universal Studios theme park on Sentosa.
Allow an entire day for exploring Sentosa Island. Experience the thrills of a simulated free fall parachute jump, and conquer aerial obstacles at MegaZip Adventure Park. Fans of marine life can swim with the dolphins or immerse in a whole new world under the sea at the Underwater World. There are beach activities as well as back to nature trails and bits of Singapore’s history to be discovered on this little island teeming with surprises! End the day at Songs of the Sea for a mesmerizing show with water jets, flames bursts and pyrotechnics.
Love the animals? Spend the day at the Singapore Zoo, have breakfast with the orang utans, Asian elephants and snakes! See the animals in their night habitat over at the Night Safari. Fly on down to the Jurong Bird Park for a tweeting good time with the feathered creatures.
Hike on over to our green spots for some back to nature greenery at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, a lush primary rainforest. Stroll along the tree-top walk in MacRitchie Reservoir or the Southern Ridges trail from Mount Faber to Henderson Waves to Alexandra, enjoy the vast biodiversity of flora and fauna. Hop on to the Singapore Flyer, the world’s largest observation wheel, for breathtaking panoramic views of the Marina Bay. Take it up to the highest heights at Marina Bay Sands Sky Park for an unobstructed view of the Singapore Island, you can even catch a glimpse of our neighbours on a clear day!
