Ubud village is dotted with different shops and galleries suitable for a free-roaming spree. Quieter, interconnecting footpaths and roads compared to the island’s southern region, makes for an enjoyable shopping tour.
You can find handicrafts from every corner of Ubud’s neighbouring villages. From the village centre, roam through the main street of Jalan Raya Ubud and down to the rows of shops along Jalan Monkey Forest. Or venture further north to the neighbouring Tegallalang or the silver and goldsmiths’ neighbourhood of Mas, Celuk and Sukawati.
