Rooms and Rates


What types of rooms are available in the hotel and what are the differences between the different categories?
A: The hotel has six room categories, Superior, Deluxe, Executive, Executive Suite, Two Bedroom Suite and Furama Suite.
Superior and Deluxe Rooms
The room offers a spacious 43 square meters area and themed with glorious mountainous view. Designed with guest’s luxury in mind, each room is complete with a separate shower and bathtub with Jacuzzi for comfort. The difference between Superior and Deluxe room is the interior design: Superior room goes by the Lanna style (local unique cultural diversity) while the Deluxe room offers contemporary styled designs.

Executive and Executive Suite
The Executive room offers 76 square meters and the Executive Suite offers 90 square meters of room space. Guests are treated to a luxurious and spacious living space whether for business or leisure relaxation. The modern chic design offers a shooting ambience coupled with our Jacuzzi bathtub to provide a truly pampering and comfortable retreat.

Two Bedroom Suites and Furama Suites

The 2 Bedroom Suite offers a spacious 135 square meters and Furama Suites offers 194 square meters for families or guests seeking for luxury with the ultimate in grandeur and magnificence. Our Two Bedroom Suite is superbly appointed with unique Thai contemporary theme with two expansive bedrooms - two extremely spacious marble bathrooms and a Jacuzzi bath and one large living room with a spacious lounge and a pantry with the perfect dining table.

Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
A: Room rates are based on per room. Prices shown on the website include taxes and service charge.

Does my room reservation require any guarantee?
A: Yes, all online bookings require a guarantee. A valid credit card is required to guarantee the booking. For Non-refundable booking, full payment will be charged upon confirmation.

Can I book using my friends’ credit card to make my reservations?
A: Yes, we will require your friend to fill up a 3rd party authorisation form to allow hotel to process the charge.

Can I use Debit Card for room payment and making reservations?
A: No, the hotel only accepts cash and major credit cards. 

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
A: To cancel your booking without any charge, please direct contact to our Reservation Department 2 days prior to arrival date, Please note that you must be booked on a Flexible rate type. If not, a cancellation must be charge as per booking conditions.

Can I amend my reservations? Is there any penalty fee?
A: If you booked through the hotel website, you may amend your reservation via the website, subjected to the terms & conditions specified on the booking confirmation. For bookings made via other channels, kindly make your amendments via your booking source.

How many people can stay in one room?
A: All rooms (Except Two Bedroom Suites and Furama Suites) can accommodate a maximum of 3 persons with 1 extra bed in room.
Two Bedroom Suites and Furama Suites can acommodate up to 6 persons with 2 extra beds in room.

How much is the extra bed?
A: Extra bed is charged at THB 400 nett, on room only.

I have 2 kids, aged 6 and 14. Do I need to get an extra bed?
A: There is no extra bed charge for children under 12 years old sharing bed with parent(s) with maximum 1 child per room. For 12 years and older, you need to get an extra bed at hotel rate charge.

I have a reservation under my name, can my friend check-in for me?
A: Yes, however guest is required to inform hotel of the friend’s name before check-in.

Can I pay my room in different currency?
A: No, hotel transactions are all in Thai Baht.

Do you offer discounts for a group booking?
A: Please contact the hotel’s Sales Department for discount rate and conditions.

Does the internet rate include breakfast?
A: Generally the rates do not include breakfast, unless otherwise mentioned.

Are the prices shown on the web before or after discount?
A: The rates shown on the hotel website are after discount. There are no hidden charges and booking fees when rates are booked via our official website.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times of the hotel?
A: Check-in time 1400hr, check-out time 1200hr.

Is it possible to check-in earlier? Is so, what are the charges?
A: If arrival is before 1000hrs, it is advisable to pre-block room a day earlier. If check-in is after 1000hrs and before 1400hrs, early check-in is still subject to availability, on a request basis but no additional charge.

Can I have a late check-out? Is so, what are the charges?
A: For check-out by 1800hrs, rates are charged at half day, for check-out from 1800hrs, full day rates apply.

Do you offer a room rate for short stays (day use)?
A: Day use rate would be the same as overnight rate (room only rate).

Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
A: We have twin and triple rooms. For triple rooms, an extra bed must be added. No quadruple rooms are available.

Are King size beds available in the rooms?
A: Yes, available upon request and subject to availability.

Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
A: Yes, we do. All room categories have bathtub with Jacuzzi with separate shower room.

What television channels are available in the rooms?
A: These are as follows although they are subject to change time to time from supplier:
Thai television 3, Thai television 5, Thai television 7, Thai television 9, NBT, Thai PBS, Fox News, BBC World News, Channel News Asia, Australia Network, NHK World, Nation Channel, Universal Channel, EUROSPORT Channel, RS SPORT LALIGA, Golf Channel, Kids Co Channel, New Explorer Channel, Travel Channel, Food Planet Channel, Channel V and Movies Channel

Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?
A: Yes we do.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?
A: We have separate smoking and non-smoking floors. Non-smoking rooms are available upon request.

Are safety deposit boxes available at the hotel?
A: All guest rooms have a safe deposit box which is available for free of charge.

Do you have a freezer in the rooms?
A: No, we don’t.

Do you have interconnecting rooms?
A: Yes, available upon request and subject to availability.

Do you offer free WiFi?
A: Yes, We do.

How much is breakfast?
A: THB 350 net per person for adult and half price for children ages between 4-12 years.

Do you have rooms for disabled/wheelchair dependent persons?
A: No disabled room available.

Do your executive floors have any children rules or dress code?
A: No children rule or dress code at the hotel.

Where is breakfast served and at what times?
A: At Heritage Cafe located on lobby floor, from 0600hr to 1000hr.

How much is child breakfast?
A: THB 175 net per child.  

How many restaurants do you have and what are they?
A: There are main 3 restaurants in the hotel.
Heritage Cafe is located on Lobby floor, an ideal place to meet and dine with the occasional visitor, offering an all day menu with a highlight of Thai and International cuisine served in casual and comfortable surroundings.

Xanadu Pub & Restaurant is an open air rooftop restaurant on 17th floor, you can see the panoramic views of the city and the famous Doi Suthep offers a pleasurable and serene atmosphere ideal for an intimate time –out with friends and family or a romantic getaway. A great variety of traditional Thai cuisine awaits you with live entertainment.

The Grill is located on 17th floor, served a test of authentic French cuisine with a great selection of steaks and barbecue treats.

Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants? 
A: A selection of vegetarian dishes is available in every outlets.

Is halal cuisine available in the restaurants?
A: Not available, but we can provide pork free menus.

Is a special menu available for children?
A: Yes, there is a children menu available in all outlets.

Do you have 24-hour room service?
A: Yes, we have 24-hour room service.

General Hotel Information


Is there a swimming pool in the hotel? Operating hours?
A: Yes, we have 2 swimming pools located on the 5th floor and 17th floor. Opening Hours: 07:00am – 07:00pm daily. 

Is there a gym in the hotel? If so, what equipment do you have in the gym? Operating hours?
A: Yes, we have a fitness room located on the 5th floor with wide range of equipments such as electric treadmills, upright bike, sit up bench and dumbbells. Opening Hours: 6.00am – 09:00pm daily. 

Is there a sauna room in the hotel? 
A: Yes, we have separate men and women sauna room on the 5th floor. Opening Hours: 11:000am - 09:00pm daily.

Is laundry service provided? 
A: Yes, we have laundry service in the hotel.

Do you have a pet policy?
A: Pets are not allowed in the hotel.

What is your hotel legal age to check-in?
A: 18yrs and above.

Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?
A: The packages are available upon request.

Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?
A: Yes, there is a tour counter in the hotel lobby.

Do you have special facilities and services available for the disabled traveller?
A: We have very limited facilities for the disabled traveller, with only 2 wheelchairs available.

Can the hotel reconfirm my ongoing flight and make arrangements for domestic and international flights? 
A: Yes, our Guest Service Executive will be pleased to assist you on your travel arrangements.

Where can I print my boarding pass? 
A: You can print the boarding pass at our Lobby Lounge and it will be chargable.

Is a doctor available at the hotel?
A: Not at the hotel but we have on-call doctor available for 24hrs.

Can I get a massage at the hotel?
A: Massage and spa are not available at the moment, the hotel can provide outside therapist for the guest.

How far is the nearest hospital to the hotel?
A: The nearest hospital is approximately 10 minutes by car. 

Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?
A: We have exchange services available at reception counter and the nearest bank (UOB) is a 5 minute walk away.

What is the local currency?
A: The local currency is in Thai Baht.

At what time do the banks open?
A: Most banks are open from 0830 hrs to 1530 hrs on Monday to Friday while banks in most shopping malls open daily from 1100 hrs to 2000 hrs.

Are there shops at the hotel? 
A: None,  but there are some nearby on the interconnect building.

Are there any golf courses near the hotel? 
A: The nearest golf course is Lanna Golf Club, approximately 10 minutes by car.

Can I connect my laptop in the room?
A: Yes, laptops can be connected to in-room LAN cable (upon request) as well as wireless connection.

What newspapers do the hotel receive and can these be delivered to my room?
A: We received Bangkok Post for English newspapers which available for the guest at the lobby lounge. In-room English newspapers can be provided upon request with charge at hotel price.

Are secretarial and other business services such as translation available?
A: Available upon advance request and cannot be guaranteed with charge at hotel price.

Are meeting rooms available at the hotel?
A: Yes, we have 7 meeting rooms, you can contact our sales department for more information.

How long does it take to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel and approximately how much does it cost? 
A: Approximately 10-15 minutes by car. The price is between THB 120-150 /way, depending on taxi company.

Do you have complimentary airport transfers? 
A: Complimentary airport transfer is dependant on the booking condition.

How do I get to the hotel from the nearest mrt station?
A: By hotel limousine (recommended) or taxi meter and public transport.

How much parking space is available at the hotel?
A: Our parking space can accommodate approximately 150 cars.

Is parking complimentary for room guests? F&B guests? 
A: Yes, it’s complimentary for the all hotel’s guest..

Are there any shuttle buses to shopping areas? Is so, what are the timings?
A: Yes, there are shuttle buses services to shopping areas

  • The shuttle bus from Central Festival Shopping Mall comes every 1 hours and it’s free of charge.
  • The shuttle bus from MAYA lifestyle Shopping Centre is available on request and free of charge. (min.  20 people)
  • The hotel shuttle bus to the Night Bazaar (Monday-Friday) leaves from the hotel at 1800 hrs and 1900 hrs and pick up at 2100 hr (100 THB/ person)
  • The hotel shuttle bus to the walking street (Saturday-Sunday) leaves from the hotel on 1800 hrs and 1900 hrs and pick up at 2100 hr (100 THB/ person)


What is the best way to get around the city?
A: By hotel limousine, for safety and comforts.

Is a child seat compulsory for use in cars in Chiang Mai? 
A: No child seat is not compulsory, however seat belt is compulsory.

Is a babysitting service available?
A: Not available at the moment. 

What facilities are available for children?
A: Children menus are available in all outlets.

Are baby cots available for the rooms?
A: Complimentary baby cot is available upon request. (Subject to availability)

Are “high chairs” available in the restaurants?
A: Yes, there are.

General Information


What voltage do you use in Thailand?
A: The voltage in Thailand is 220 V.

What pin plug do you use in Thailand?
A: Thailand uses a variety of plus and sockets. Please refer to this chart on wiki for more information.

What is the GST refund system in Thailand?
A:Tourists are able to claim back the VAT on larger purchases when they are exit the country at any major International Airports in Thailand.

Is it safe to drink tap water in Thailand?
A: We do not recommend drinking the tap water in Thailand, the hotel provides 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water per day in all guest rooms.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?
A: As a general guideline, the weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant from November to February when there are clear skies and sunshine. The “hot season” is from April and May, when temperatures reach their highest. The “rainy season” is between June and September although it does not rain everyday and the rain usually only lasts for an hour or so in the evening.

What should I wear in Thailand?
A: The dress code in Thailand is quite modest and so conservative dress is  recommended. Shorts and sleeveless vests cannot be worn to visit a temple.

Are there any major shopping centres near the hotel? If so, where are they?
A: Shopping facilities located near the hotel include Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center and Central Kad Suan Kaew, both are within a 5-10 minute walk.

How far is the hotel from the main shopping area?
A: 10 minutes on foot.

Is the hotel far from the train station/bus stop?
A: Within 10-15 minutes by car.

Are you close to the Theatres/Entertainment venues?
A: Yes, Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center is within 5 minutes away.

Can we book sightseeing tours directly at the hotel?
A: Yes, you can at book at the tour desk at the lobby floor.
